On Thursday, April 11, the U.S.-Egypt Business Council, in partnership with AmCham Egypt, Inc., hosted a roundtable meeting featuring Her Excellency Dr. Sahar Nasr, Minister of Investment and International Cooperation for the Arab Republic of Egypt.

H.E. Dr. Nasr discussed updates to Egypt's law guiding inbound foreign investment and explained her strategy to continue diversifying and growing the scope of Egypt's investment partners among all sectors of the economy. She also highlighted importance of local job creation, as well as the continued support of the IMF and World Bank in promoting startups in Egypt and transitioning to a digital economy.
