On May 9, AmCham Egypt Inc. in partnership with the US Chamber’s US-Egypt Business Council, hosted a hybrid roundtable discussion featuring His Excellency Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin, COP27 Climate Action Champion. Welcome remarks were made by the U.S. Chamber’s Global Energy Institute’s Senior Vice President Marty Durbin and the U.S. Chamber's Senior Vice President for International Development and Middle East Affairs Khush Choksy. Introductory remarks were made by AmCham Egypt Inc. CEO Mr. Hisham Fahmy. In preparation for COP27, Dr. Mohieldin updated attendees on the latest climate mitigation and adaptation policies. Featured remarks were followed by a moderated discussion led by USEBC Executive Director Steve Lutes.
