During his talks with Tom Vilsack, Abdel-Nour tackled the importance of offering more Egyptian products to the US markets, topped by citrus, string beans and Mango.
In addition, an agreement had been reached between Vilsack and Abdel-Nour on inviting agriculture ministry's experts to visit the USA in next August to get acquainted with means of treating oranges and tangerine fruits to overcome the fruit flies before entering the US markets. The citrus would be exported to the USA in autumn 2014.
