On Monday, February 4, 2019, Major General Tarek Saad, Chief of the Armed Forces Armament Authority, Egyptian Ministry of Defense was the honored guest of a private luncheon hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with AmCham Egypt Inc. in Washington, DC. Among the topics discussed, Major General Saad emphasized the historical partnership between Egypt and the U.S., highlighted the successful 2018 Egypt Defence Expo, and explained how he looks forward to future collaboration with the U.S. Chamber and defense companies on the U.S.-Egypt Business Council.
